The Egyptian Wind Energy Association (EGWEA) promotes and supports wind energy development in Egypt by facilitating the exchange of technical information, expertise and experience in the wind energy sector. EGWEA aims to be an influential umbrella organization representing the wind energy sector in Egypt and thus assisting the interaction and co-operation between all energy players.
The European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) is the world's largest industry association devoted to the solar photovoltaic (PV) electricity market. The association aims to promote PV at national, European and worldwide levels and to assist its members in their business development in both the European Union and export markets.
EPIA secretariat is located in the Renewable Energy House. In the heart of the European area in Brussels, this building gathers all associations involved in renewable energy.
ESTELA is a European Industry Association created to support the emerging European solar thermal electricity industry for the generation of green power in Europe and abroad, mainly in the Mediterranean region.
ESTELA involves and is open to all main actors in Europe : promoters, developers, manufacturers, utilities, engineering companies, research institutions.

The Italian section of the International Solar Energy Society is a non-profit organization aimed to the promotion of renewable sources of energy and Energy Efficiency. ISES ITALIA focuses its work on several key actions: information (also provided through the monthly newsletter Ilsoleatrecentosessantagradi, containing updates regarding renewable energies field), technical and legal assistance, training, lobbying, events and workshops as well. Our technical newsletter Ilsoleatrecentosessantagradi is published monthly, representing the associations benchmark (www.ilsolea360gradi.it) and contributing to promote the alternative sources of energy on the Italian territory.

Protermosolar founded in 2004, is the Spanish Association of the Solar Thermal Electric Industry. Protermosolar is also founder member and vice-president of the European association ESTELA www.estelasolar.eu
Although Protermosolar is mainly focused in the Spanish CSP market -which nowadays represent more than 90% of the market at world level- it gathers virtually all the promoters, operators, constructors and manufactures of CSP plants at world level as most of the non Spanish companies have also a strong interest in the Spanish operations. Protemosolar has now 100 associated members and covers the whole value chain of the Solar Thermal Electric projects.
All the operating plants in Spain as well as those others which are under construction or in an advanced planning stage (more than 2500 MW in total) belong to our associated members. Additional details on the plants can be seen in the web page www.protermosolar.com. Additionally, the largest operating plants in USA (SEGS and Nevada Solar 1) as well as the ISCC in Morocco and Algeria are also owned and operated by Protermosolar members.
WWEA works for a world energy system fully based on renewable energy, with wind energy as one cornerstone. WWEA is a communication platform for all wind energy actors, WWEA advises national governments and international organisations on favourable policies and WWEA enhances international technology transfer.
WWEA has almost 500 members and represents the wind sector from 96 countries on all continents. Amongst the WWEA members, there are national wind energy associations (representing 50000 members), companies, scientific institutions and public bodies.
WWEA has Special Consultative Status at the United Nations, cooperates with many international organisations and is one of the first and major proponents of the International Renewable Energy Agency IRENA. WWEA is also a founding partner of the International Renewable Energy Alliance.
WWEA publishes the annual World Wind Energy Report and the yearbook Wind Energy International, with country reports about 100 countries. The 10th World Wind Energy Conference 2011 will be held in Cairo/Egypt from 2-4 May 2011 previous WWECs were held in Turkey, South Korea, Canada, Argentina, India, Australia, China, South Africa, and Germany.
